Blue Velvet Film Review


"Blue Velvet" is one of the most powerful movies that had made in Cinema history ever. The movie was released in 1986 which was written and directed by "David Lynch" the maestro. David Lynch is a alternative filmmaker that brought a new era of storytelling to the World Cinema. Blue Velvet movie has nominated for many awards and have won many including National Society of Film Critics Award in 1986.


Jeffrey, while walking through a field near his house, he finds a severed human ear which brings him curiosity to search. So he joins forces with a detective's daughter to solve the mystery. The storyline of the screenplay has developed to it's maximum standard and it hooks the audience ver y easily. And it keeps the audience engage with movie. Jeffery Beaumont is a College student who returns to his hometown to look after father's hardware store while he is in hospital. Walking through a grassy field near the home, Jeffrey finds a severed human ear. It leads him to find out what happening in the town.

David Lynch has taken cinema to a next level that none has even imagined. Lynch's movies are more familiar to us and they brings some untold points in cinema to the audience and engages with them very easily. That is a master trick of David Lynch's in movie making. He is an influential filmmaker in the world who created new ways if thinking in Storytelling.
